Surgery Office
Surgical procedures may be performed in our fully accredited surgical facility that maximizes patient safety, sterility, and privacy in a private atmosphere. The center has received the highest certification by the American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities (AAAASF), duplicating the safety of a hospital without the impersonal experience. Offices with this certification maintain rigorous standards for equipment, operating room safety, and personnel credentials.
Anesthesia for surgery is administered only by board-certified anesthesiologists with expertise in plastic surgery anesthesia. After your surgery, a private nurse will care for you in our comfortable recovery room until you are ready to go home. If you are an out- of-town patient, arrangements can be made to stay at a nearby hotel accompanied by a nurse.
GREENWICH HOSPITAL
Dr. Raskin’s more involved procedures are performed in the Cosmetic Unit at Greenwich Hospital on West Putnam. The Cosmetic Unit is specifically designed to provide safe, affordable, comprehensive care to those undergoing elective cosmetic surgery. The Unit combines an elegant, private setting with the peace of mind of knowing that the hospital’s staff and resources are close at hand if the need ever arises. For your safety, all procedures are performed under the supervision of a Board Certified Anesthesiologist, and monitoring before and after surgery is performed by Registered Nurses.
